This position is responsible for interfacing with engineering to create accurate 3-D models and assemblies using AutoCAD. The position will involve assembling and managing large models, creating 2-D vendor documentation and BOMs. S/he may be required to work from existing 2-D drawings and generate models directly from items on hand and should have familiarity with acquiring and working with pre-existing vendor models. S/he must be familiar with revision control and understand how to work constructively with other designers and engineers within the company.
Capabilities:
.Education/Experience: SolidWorks experience of at least 2 years, with 4 years preferred. Experience with equipment design involving piping components, motors, valves, structural steels and conduits preferred. Experience with AutoCAD and MicroSoft.
Pay: Pay based on technical experience and expertise
